What you need to know before you order prescription glasses and sunglasses online.
If you´re ordering prescription frames or sunglasses you will need an up-to-date prescription from your optician. If your prescription is more than 3 years old we recommend that you take a new eye test. If you don´t have your prescription simply call your optician and ask them for a copy.
Your prescription will normally state your PD measurement. PD stands for pupillary distance and is the distance in millimetres between the centre of your two eyes. We use this measurement to ensure the lenses are properly positioned in your frames.
It will usually be a double digit number between 56 and 70. If you can´t find this on your prescription you will need to measure it yourself. Here´s how tomeasure your PD.
